socialite
High society regular
A socialite is a person prominent in fashionable society, known for attending parties, galas, and other high-profile events.
The term usually implies wealth and leisure—someone whose social life is itself a kind of occupation: The socialite was photographed at every major charity event.
It often carries a faintly dismissive connotation, suggesting someone famous for being famous rather than for accomplishment.
