Lower body panels
Sideskirts are panels fitted along the lower sides of a vehicle, between the front and rear wheel wells.
They reduce aerodynamic drag by smoothing airflow beneath the car and give a lower, sportier appearance: The aftermarket sideskirts completely changed the car's profile.
Standard on many sports cars, they're popular additions in car modification culture.
