insane
Lost all reason
Insane means severely mentally ill, unable to think or behave rationally.
Legal and medical usage has largely abandoned the term, but it persists in everyday speech to mean wildly unreasonable or extreme: The traffic was insane, an insane schedule.
Something insane might be impressively bold: That skateboard trick was insane.
The adverb insanely intensifies: insanely talented, insanely expensive.
