secretary
Handles the scheduling
A secretary handles administrative duties—scheduling, correspondence, filing, answering phones.
The role has evolved; many now prefer "administrative assistant." In government, a secretary heads a major department: the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense.
In British usage, a secretary may be a minister or senior official.
A secretary is also a tall writing desk with drawers and compartments.
