sail-plan
Vessel's canvas arrangement
A sail-plan is a diagram showing the arrangement and configuration of sails on a vessel—their number, shape, size, and position on the masts and rigging.
Naval architects and boat designers use sail-plans to specify how a ship will be rigged: The sail-plan called for a main, jib, and spinnaker.
