reanimator
Restores the lifeless
A reanimator is someone or something that restores life to the dead or brings back what has ceased to function.
The term gained currency from H.P.
Lovecraft's horror story "Herbert West—Reanimator" and its film adaptations, where a scientist obsessively revives corpses.
More broadly, a reanimator revives anything dormant or defunct: He became the reanimator of the company's failed projects.
