postscripts

Added letter thoughts

Postscripts are additions written after the main body of a letter or document, typically following the signature.

The abbreviation P.S. introduces them: P.S. I forgot to mention the party is Saturday.

Figuratively, a postscript is any afterthought or supplementary remark: The final chapter serves as a postscript to the author's career.
