q
Precedes the R
Q is the seventeenth letter of the English alphabet, almost always followed by u in native English words: queen, quiet, quilt.
On its own, Q can stand for question, as in Q&A (question and answer).
In James Bond films, Q is the gadget-master who outfits the spy.
The letter also names the hypothetical biblical source text that scholars believe underlies parts of Matthew and Luke.
