plantlet
Tiny growing offspring
A plantlet is a small or young plant, especially one produced asexually from a parent plant rather than grown from seed.
Many species generate plantlets on runners, leaf edges, or stems: Spider plants send out runners with plantlets that can be snipped off and potted.
The term also applies to tiny plants grown in laboratory tissue culture.
