Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system—the network of vessels and nodes that carries immune cells throughout the body.
It encompasses many different cancers of lymphocytes, distinguished from Hodgkin lymphoma by the absence of a specific abnormal cell type.
She was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma after noticing swollen lymph nodes.
