multiband
Covering several frequencies
Multiband describes equipment or systems that operate across multiple frequency ranges or bands simultaneously.
The term appears most often in radio communications, audio processing, and wireless technology, where a multiband receiver can tune into various parts of the spectrum and a multiband compressor processes different frequency ranges independently.
Multiband antennas can transmit or receive on several amateur radio bands without needing adjustment.
