multispectral

Across several spectra

Multispectral describes imaging or sensing technology that captures data across multiple bands of the electromagnetic spectrum—typically visible light plus infrared, ultraviolet, or other wavelengths invisible to the human eye.

The technique reveals information that ordinary photography cannot: Multispectral satellite imagery detects crop stress before it's visible.

Common in remote sensing, agriculture, and art restoration.
