wideband

Spanning multiple frequencies

Wideband describes systems or signals that operate across a broad range of frequencies, as opposed to narrowband.

The term appears most often in telecommunications and audio engineering: wideband internet, wideband radio.

A wideband connection can carry more data or capture more of the sound spectrum than a narrowband one.
