loudness

Decibel-measured quality

Loudness is the quality of being loud—the intensity or volume of a sound as perceived by the ear.

It can be measured objectively in decibels or judged subjectively: The loudness of the concert left my ears ringing.

Loudness also describes anything aggressively attention-seeking: the loudness of a color scheme, the loudness of someone's personality.
