microphotographic

Extremely small-scale imaging

Microphotographic describes photography at very small scales—either photographs reduced to microscopic size, or photographs taken through a microscope.

The term applies to equipment, techniques, and images: microphotographic records, microphotographic analysis of cell structures.

The two meanings are essentially opposites, so context determines which is meant.
