low-tier
Near the bottom
Low-tier describes something ranked near the bottom of a hierarchy or quality scale.
The term comes from gaming and internet culture, where players and products get sorted into tiers: a low-tier character in a fighting game, low-tier memes.
It implies not just poor quality but measurable inferiority compared to better options.
The opposite is high-tier or top-tier.
