high-tier
Near the top
High-tier describes something at or near the top of a ranking system—superior in quality, status, or capability.
The term comes from gaming and internet culture, where players and content are sorted into tiers: a high-tier character in the meta, high-tier gameplay.
It now applies broadly to anything considered elite or top-quality: high-tier restaurants, high-tier talent.
