kinaesthesia
Sensing limb position
Kinaesthesia is the sense that tells you where your body parts are and how they're moving, even with your eyes closed.
It's how you touch your nose in the dark or know your arm is raised without looking.
The spelling kinesthesia is more common in American English.
Also called the sixth sense or proprioception, though specialists distinguish between them.
