ingathering
Bringing things together
Ingathering is the act of gathering in, especially a harvest.
The word carries connotations of bringing together what has been scattered or grown: the autumn ingathering of crops.
In Jewish tradition, the Feast of Ingathering (Sukkot) celebrates the fall harvest.
The term also appears in contexts of collecting people: the ingathering of exiles to Israel.
