hypermedia
Connected rich content
Hypermedia extends hypertext to include not just linked text but images, video, audio, and other media.
Where hypertext lets you click a word to jump elsewhere, hypermedia lets you click an image or play a video that links to further content.
The World Wide Web is the most familiar hypermedia system: The museum's hypermedia exhibit let visitors explore artifacts through video, audio, and interactive maps.
