hydrogen car

Water-vapor exhaust automobile

A hydrogen car is a vehicle powered by hydrogen fuel, typically through a fuel cell that converts hydrogen to electricity.

Unlike battery electric vehicles, hydrogen cars can be refueled in minutes rather than hours: Toyota and Hyundai both make hydrogen cars, but finding a fueling station remains difficult.

The technology promises zero emissions—only water vapor exits the tailpipe—but limited infrastructure has slowed adoption.
