horsecar
Rail-drawn animal transit
A horsecar is a passenger vehicle, typically running on rails, that was pulled by one or more horses.
Before electric streetcars and motorized transit, horsecars were the primary form of public transportation in cities during the 19th century.
The old horsecar line ran down Main Street until 1895.
The term may also refer to a railroad car designed for transporting horses.
