hobbler

One who limps

A hobbler is someone or something that hobbles—walks with a limp or uneven gait, or causes another to do so.

The word most often describes a person moving awkwardly due to injury or age: The old hobbler made his way slowly down the street.

Historically, a hobbler was also a person who tended horses at an inn or ferry crossing.
