Helicopter landing platforms
Helidecks is the plural of helideck, a landing platform for helicopters.
Helidecks are typically found on ships, offshore oil rigs, and tall buildings where conventional runways are impossible: The offshore platform had two helidecks for crew transport.
The word combines helicopter with deck.
