Queer sense, informally
Gaydar is the supposed intuitive ability to recognize whether someone is gay, a blend of "gay" and "radar." The term is often used playfully or self-deprecatingly: My gaydar must be broken—I had no idea he was gay.
Whether gaydar reflects genuine perception of subtle cues or just stereotype-matching remains debated.
