freeing
Letting someone go
Freeing is the act of releasing from confinement, bondage, or restriction.
The word works both literally and figuratively: freeing a prisoner, freeing up time on your schedule, freeing yourself from doubt.
As an adjective, freeing describes experiences that produce a sense of liberation: Quitting that job was freeing.
