feelings
What hearts hold
Feelings are emotional states or responses—happiness, anger, fear, sadness, love.
The word covers both fleeting reactions and deeper sentiments: I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
Feelings can also mean intuitions or impressions: I have a feeling something's wrong.
To have feelings for someone suggests romantic attraction.
No hard feelings dismisses potential resentment after conflict.
