lousy

Not at all good

Lousy originally meant infested with lice, but that sense has faded.

Now lousy almost always means bad, unpleasant, or of poor quality: a lousy movie, lousy weather, I feel lousy.

To be lousy with something is to have too much of it: The place was lousy with tourists.
