draft mode
Unfinished work state
Draft mode is a setting in software that prioritizes speed over polish, typically by hiding complex formatting, reducing image quality, or skipping visual refinements.
Word processors and design programs use draft mode to let users work faster when final appearance doesn't matter yet: I write in draft mode to avoid distraction.
The term extends to any preliminary, rough-cut approach: My brain is still in draft mode this morning.
