gold master
Ready for duplication
Gold master is the final, approved version of software, a video game, or other media ready for mass production or release.
The term comes from the days when finished code was burned onto a gold-colored CD or DVD to be sent for duplication.
The game has gone gold, meaning development is complete and manufacturing can begin.
