team deathmatch

Group versus group

Team deathmatch is a multiplayer video game mode where two teams compete to kill members of the opposing team, with each kill adding to the team's score.

The first team to reach a target number of kills—or the team with the most kills when time expires—wins.

The format dominates first-person shooters: We played team deathmatch on Call of Duty all night.
