downward dog
Mat-based triangle pose
Downward dog is a yoga pose in which the body forms an inverted V—hands and feet on the floor, hips raised, head hanging between the arms.
The position resembles a dog stretching with its rear end in the air.
It's one of the most recognizable poses in Western yoga practice: We held downward dog for five breaths.
