upward-facing dog
Spine-arching stretch
Upward-facing dog is a yoga pose in which you lie face-down, then press your palms into the floor to lift your chest and thighs, arching the spine with arms straight and shoulders back.
The pose opens the chest and strengthens the arms.
Often shortened to upward dog or up dog, it typically alternates with downward-facing dog in flowing sequences.
