erect posture
Spine fully extended
Erect posture is the upright position of the body when standing or sitting—spine straight, shoulders back, head level.
The term appears in discussions of health, body language, and human evolution: Erect posture distinguishes humans from other primates.
Good posture suggests confidence and alertness; poor posture implies fatigue or dejection.
