curly bracket
Wavy vertical parenthesis
A curly bracket is either of the paired punctuation marks , used in programming to enclose blocks of code, in mathematics to denote sets, and in writing to group items or indicate optional elements.
Also called a brace.
The opening bracket is the left curly bracket; the closing is the right.
