colostomy bag
Surgical waste collector
A colostomy bag is a pouch that attaches to the abdomen to collect waste from a surgically created opening (stoma) in the colon.
People who have had portions of their bowel removed or bypassed wear colostomy bags when normal elimination is no longer possible.
The bag is typically concealed under clothing and emptied or replaced regularly.
