brick pattern
Laid stone design
A brick pattern is an arrangement where rectangular elements are staggered so that vertical joints don't align—each row offset by half the length of the unit above.
The pattern appears in actual masonry, tile work, paving, and graphic design.
Also called running bond or offset pattern.
The subway tiles were laid in a classic brick pattern.
