Deck perpendicular slide
A boardslide is a skateboarding trick in which the rider ollies onto a rail, ledge, or other obstacle and slides along it with the board perpendicular to the obstacle, the deck passing over and grinding against the surface.
The term extends to snowboarding, where the same perpendicular sliding motion applies.
He landed a clean boardslide on the handrail.
The trick requires balance and commitment, as the rider must hop onto the obstacle, maintain position while sliding, and dismount cleanly.
