5-0

Law enforcement nickname

5-0 (pronounced "five-oh") is slang for police, from the television series *Hawaii Five-O*.

The term spread through hip-hop and street culture as a way to warn others or refer to cops without being obvious: 5-0, 5-0!

The 5-0 showed up and everybody scattered.
