Skateboard flip maneuver
A kickflip is a skateboarding trick where the rider jumps, kicks the edge of the board to make it spin lengthwise beneath them, then lands back on it.
The trick became foundational to street skating in the 1980s and remains a benchmark of basic competence: He spent months learning to kickflip.
