anticolonialists
Empire opposition movement
Anticolonialists are people who oppose colonialism—the domination and exploitation of one nation or people by another.
The term applies both to those who fought against colonial rule historically and to contemporary critics of its lasting effects: Anticolonialists demanded independence from European powers.
The stance may be political, intellectual, or both.
