Joined military partners
Allied forces are military units from different nations fighting together toward a common objective.
The term implies a formal or informal alliance, with separate national forces coordinating operations: Allied forces launched a joint offensive against the insurgents.
It applies to any coalition warfare, historical or contemporary. (Capitalized Allied Forces typically refers to World War I or II coalitions.)
