Winnebago
Highway home brand
Winnebago refers to a Native American people indigenous to Wisconsin and their Siouan language, now more commonly called Ho-Chunk.
The name is far more widely known as a brand of recreational vehicles—large motorhomes equipped for travel and camping.
The brand name has become somewhat generic: They drove their Winnebago across the country.
Any large RV may be called a Winnebago regardless of manufacturer.
