Twelfth Night
Christmastide's final evening
Twelfth Night is the evening of January 5th, the twelfth night after Christmas and the eve of Epiphany.
Traditionally it marked the end of the Christmas season with feasting and revelry.
Shakespeare's comedy of the same name takes its title from this festive occasion, when normal social rules were suspended and mischief was expected.
