The Last Emperor is a 1987 epic film directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, depicting the life of Puyi, the final emperor of China's Qing dynasty.
The title also refers to Puyi himself, who ascended the throne at age two and was later deposed as China transitioned to a republic.
