Reebok

Athletic shoe company

Reebok is a brand of athletic footwear and apparel, founded in England and now owned by Adidas.

The name comes from the Afrikaans word for a type of African antelope.

Like other athletic brands, Reebok functions as a common noun for the shoes themselves: She laced up her Reeboks for the gym.
