Presidents Day
Washington's birthday, modernized
Presidents Day is an American federal holiday on the third Monday of February, originally celebrating George Washington's birthday.
The apostrophe placement varies—*Presidents' Day* honors multiple presidents, *President's Day* honors one, and *Presidents Day* sidesteps the question.
Many states use the day to honor Lincoln as well, whose birthday also falls in February.
