Polyphemus
Blinded cave-dwelling giant
Polyphemus is the one-eyed giant from Greek mythology—the Cyclops whom Odysseus blinded to escape his cave.
The name appears in the Polyphemus moth, a large North American silk moth with prominent eyespots on its hindwings.
In astronomy, Polyphemus is a moon of Saturn.
