Hermes
Olympian divine courier
Hermes is the Greek god of messengers, travelers, thieves, and commerce—a divine figure associated with crossing boundaries and facilitating exchange.
He guided souls to the underworld and served as messenger to the other gods.
The name appears in hermetic (from Hermes Trismegistus, a syncretic deity), and Hermès, the French luxury brand.
The statue depicted Hermes with his winged sandals.
