Pittsburgh
Pennsylvania's steel city
Pittsburgh is a city in western Pennsylvania where the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers join to form the Ohio.
Once the center of American steel production, it retains industrial associations even as it has shifted toward medicine, technology, and education: He moved to Pittsburgh for a job at Carnegie Mellon.
The spelling with the final -h distinguishes it from other American cities named Pittsburg.
